Foragers is a family-run farm and food business run by Gary & Jo McAlpine and located on the western edge of Stirlingshire in central Scotland. We're 20 miles north of Glasgow near the beautiful villages of Drymen, Balfron and Killearn and just outside of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park.

Our farm is situated on an established wildflower and grass meadow so biodiversity is very much at the heart of our enterprise. We grow a variety of chillies and fresh culinary herbs when in season. We also make a range of jams, chutneys and relishes with our chillis.

We grow a wide range of vegetables here on the farm above the beautiful Helford river in west Cornwall. Being situated in an area of small rural villages and communities we are passionate about the importance of our fragile rural economy and the circular economy as a whole.
We are so lucky in this area to still have many wonderful independent village shops who's value and importance was realised in 2020 with the onset of Covid and the subsequent lock downs - they were the life blood of our communities at that time. For this reason we sell very little produce direct from the farm preferring instead so supply local shops and restaurants, encouraging people to use and support these vital sevices instead of the multinationals.
Pengelly Farms Ltd

The Rogers family have been farming at Pengelly Barton since 1967, originally a 137-acre mixed/dairy farm growing potatoes & brassicas alongside a herd of Friesian dairy cattle and fattening pigs.

Run by father and son, Simon & Phil Rogers – today the business is farming approximately 2,600 acres across Cornwall including 1,400 acres of potatoes and 1,200 acres of maize, sugar beet and rye.
​
Growing predominantly salad varieties, the farm is proud to harvest some of the first mainland potatoes in the UK – supplied to supermarkets and wholesale markets across the country, starting in mid-May each year.
​
The farm is also home to one of Cornwall’s largest Anaerobic Digestion plants, utilising home-grown energy crops and potato waste to produce biogas as fuel, generating electricity to supply the national grid.
Ripple Farm Organics

Ripple Farm has been certified Organic since 1989 and is certified organic by the Soil Association. The farm itself is essentially a market garden producing a wide range of organically grown vegetables, salad crops, herbs and a small amount of fruit.
With this produce, Ripple Farm Organics runs an East Kent vegetable box scheme; sells at Wye and Whitstable Farmers' Markets in Kent, and Stoke Newington Farmers' Market in London; and supplies specialist organic/wholefood shops, Growing Communities and other box schemes and home deliveries in London as well as shops, cafes and pubs in East Kent.

Sarah Green's Organics

Sarah Green's Organics is situated in Tillingham on the east Essex coast, 50 miles east of London. Sarah Green is the third generation of her family farming in Tillingham, where we grow a wide selection of seasonal organic vegetables throughout the year.

We harvest the vegetables fresh from the field specifically to order. We supply a range of customers from box schemes, community food buying groups, restaurants and eateries. We run a Vegetable Box Scheme with a weekly or fortnightly delivery of our seasonal Tillingham grown organic vegetables. We deliver into London twice a week and we regularly deliver in and around South East Essex.

We are Stort Valley Organics, a run box scheme based at Stansteadbury Farm on the outskirts of Stanstead Abbotts.

Our boxes contain certified organic fruit and vegetables sourced from our farm as well as other local farms. Our aim is to provide good quality organic fruit and vegetables to the public at an affordable price whilst helping to build a sustainable food system.
​
Our mission is to grow the most nutrient, mineral dense food possible while working with nature not against it. To not just feed the local community but to feed and look after all of nature. We do not use any pesticides fungicides or herbicides. Doing so would be against our whole ethos and philosophy of using nature and the natural elements to grow our food. We wouldn't dream of putting poisons on the land or on our food that we serve our family and yours.

Townsend Farm

We grow a variety of dessert and cider apples. In 2017 we experimented with making juice ourselves to produce single varietal juice rather than a blended product. This enabled us to control the process in order to produce a great quality and flavoursome juice from different apples, such as Jonagold, Falstaff, Discovery and Greensleeves.

We are learning how the seasons influence flavours and what differences our interactions with the orchards make. By controlling the circle of the process, through growing, harvesting and juicing, we are rewarded with the true benefit of a quality product.

We have different varieties of apple juice available in glass bottles 750ml, 375ml and 3l pouches.

We are an Organic and Low input Market Garden based near Wingham in Kent, established since 1986. We sell and deliver not only our own produce but something for every budget. Be that Local, Imported, Conventional or Organic. We deliver door to door in Canterbury, Dover , Deal and most of the surrounding villages.

We grow a wide range of crops including Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Peppers, Herbs, Beans, Courgettes, Squash, Lettuce, Salad Leaves, Kale, Leeks, and Carrots.
All our own crops grown under glass and polythene are kept clean of pests using Biological Control. We use no insecticides or herbicides, relying on ground cover fabric and hard work to control the weeds.
