Magness Farms Pork
George Magness and his partner, Catrina, specialise in producing high quality meat from animals reared to high welfare standards. These include woodland reared pork from Saddleback and Landrace pigs, free range turkeys and beef from cattle grazed in our fields.
The family have been running the farm in north-west Essex since 1922 and have historically grown crops on the farm. But they are now starting to introduce livestock back onto the farm, to develop a mixed farming system.
George started his career in the meat industry at Smithfield Market as a salesman and he is now using his butchery knowledge and interest in farm livestock to bring new enterprises to the farm.
Our pork is produced from our own Landrace and Saddleback pigs reared in woodland on the farm and butchered locally.

We can deliver our pork direct to local customers. We plan to start nationwide deliveries at a later date.
